Nominations and snubs for Golden Globe Awards
Arts and Entertainment December 18th. 2011, 6:23amThe nominees were just announced for the 2012 Golden Globe Awards, set to take place on January 15th. However, like with any other award nominations there were some shows and actors who the general public felt were snubbed.
Not receiving any reorganization yet again was the show “Community”, not quite as high in the ratings, it does have a solid group of loyal watchers. Also left out of the best comedy series were their shows “Parks and Recreations”, “30 Rock” and “The Office”, which received no nominations at all. Jim Parsons was snubbed for best actor in “The Bing Bang Theory”, as was Louis CK for his self named series. However, the biggest shock was for best TV series drama, in which “Breaking Bad” was not recognized.
One actor who is cashing in big though is Ryan Gosling. One of the hottest rising Hollywood stars this year, he is truly being a force to be reckon with. The very talented youngster received two nominations. One was for best actor in a comedy for his role in “Crazy, Stupid, Love” while the other was best actor in a drama for his performance in “The Ides of March”.
